“I’m very excited to join the FGS team in delivering excellence to their strong government customer base,” said Schneider. “I am drawn to FGS’s deep history of providing critical intelligence and technology support to the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. As I embark on this opportunity, I am honored to support the community where I first began my career.”
Randy Johnson is stepping down after serving as president and CEO for the past 12 years. He will now serve as the chairman of the board of directors for FGS. During his tenure Johnson tripled FGS to over 300 employees while decreasing overhead costs. “On behalf of the board, I want to thank Randy for his contributions to FGS and his dedication to our customers and workforce,” said Facchina.
Johnson said, “It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the FGS president and CEO, it is the best job I have ever had. We have the most amazing employees who are totally dedicated to helping our customers meet their mission objectives. I feel confident passing the helm of FGS to Grant as I transition to the board. Grant brings the perfect mix of customer knowledge and leadership experience to this role. I look forward to the next phase of growth for FGS.”
