SPAWAR updates VLF/LF receiver redesign RFI
On November 22, the U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command updated its request for information for Submarine, Airborne, and Shore Very Low Frequency/Low Frequency (VLF/LF) Receiver Redesign. The RFI due date has been extended to December 7.
The Program Executive Officer – Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (PEO C4I), Undersea Integration Program Office (PMW 770), in partnership with the PEO Tactical Aircraft Programs (PEO T), E-6B Airborne Strategic Command, Control, and Communications Program Office (PMA 271), is seeking information for the design, development, fabrication, assembly, and test of a Very Low Frequency/Low Frequency (VLF/LF) Receiver to replace aging systems currently installed on Navy submarines, the E-6B aircraft, and in shore-based Fixed Submarine Broadcast System (FSBS) sites.
