SPA to support OSD Strategic Capabilities Office

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. of Alexandria, VA announced on November 1 that it was awarded a contract to support Analysis and Assessment Services for the Office of the Secretary of Defense Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO).

SPA will conduct Naval and Joint Warfare Analysis, Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and provide expertise in identifying and analyzing strategic and operational military value of new technologies or alternative applications of current technologies.

“The Department of Defense continues to strengthen its capabilities to address current and future threats,” said Dr. William Vantine, SPA president and CEO. “Our team will use their experience and analytical capabilities to help the SCO evaluate the military utility of potential initiatives.”

The $3.2M contract was issued by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific.
