PAE wins contract to support US Army strategy in Afghanistan
PAE has been awarded the National Maintenance Strategy (NMS) contract by the U.S. Army’s Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM), the Arlington, VA-based company announced June 1.
Under NMS, PAE will provide training and mentoring to the Afghanistan National Defense Security Forces (ANDSF) in maintenance, supply chain management and warehouse support across 25 locations in Afghanistan. PAE will also provide Contractor Logistics Support to the ANDSF, which will include maintenance, supply chain management and parts support for vehicles and ground equipment. This hybrid costtype contract is valued at $142M for the base year. The period of performance with all options is five and one half years.
