DIA posts RFI for email and SharePoint archiving systems

On May 31, the Defense Intelligence Agency posted a request for information on email, file system, and SharePoint archiving. Responses are due by 4:00pm Eastern on June 30.

The intent of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather options, capabilities, market information, and pricing available for email, file system, Instant Messaging, and SharePoint archiving systems. DIA is seeking information from established vendors, developers, and resellers who offer technologies of archiving and managing email, SharePoint, and file system data as well as eDiscovery capabilities of archived data. The chosen technology will operate within and in support of the US Intelligence Community (IC).

DIA currently has four separate instances of Veritas Enterprise Vault and Discovery Accelerator and owns approximately 80,000 software licenses of each. These software licenses and software maintenance are current.

DIA is seeking information for the potential future procurement of archiving technologies that will align with our strategic goals of leveraging cloud compute and storage technologies.
