PAE appoints Andy Strampach business development VP for National Security Solutions business
PAE of Arlington, VA announced on August 1 the appointment of 30-year industry veteran Andrew “Andy” Strampach as vice president of business development (BD) for the National Security Solutions (NSS) business unit, including responsibility for the recently acquired FCi business. Strampach joins PAE from Leidos where he led business development efforts for the company’s multi-billion dollar Intelligence Community (IC) work.
“Andy is an incredible addition to our growth leadership team,” said PAE CEO John Heller. “His impressive career and track record spans not only top tier defense, intelligence and cybersecurity companies but also includes a military career in the U.S. Air Force. We are fortunate to have someone of Andy’s caliber to lead and grow our BD activities in one of our strategic mission areas, and we look forward to the many successes he will bring to PAE.”
Prior to Leidos, Strampach was vice president of BD and strategy for Parsons Government Services’ National Security and Defense division where he grew the $600 million division and achieved an 85% win rate. Earlier in his corporate career, he held leadership roles at SPARTA (a Cobham company), General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), GD Advanced Information Systems and SAIC. During his 22-year service in the U.S. Air Force, he supported law enforcement and operational intelligence missions around the world.
Strampach holds a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from the University of the Philippines and a master’s in systems management from the Florida Institute of Technology.
