Army posts RFI for multi-sensor STUAS

On May 11, the U.S. Army posted a request for information on Small Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System (STUAS) with Multi-Sensor Imaging (Solicitation Number: W911QY-17-R-XXXX). Responses, in the form of white papers, should be received no later than 3:00pm on May 25.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to support market research by identifying sources that can provide tactical teams immediate anytime/anywhere aerial intelligence; automatic identification and tracking of moving targets; ability to maintain a fixed hold on stationary objects while the aircraft is repositioned; daylight and thermal, clear, precise, high definition images and video from a distance; capability to monitor and assess any situation in demanding weather conditions. The U.S. Army Contracting Command – APG, Natick Contracting Division, is conducting market research to identify currently available sources for a small tactical unmanned multi-sensor imaging aircraft system capable of providing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance in day and night operations in adverse environmental conditions.
