Air Force posts SAET RFI

On August 17, the U.S. Air Force posted a request for information (RFI) for Sensor Agnostic Emulator Trainer (SAET). Responses are due by 4:00 p.m. Eastern on September 18.

The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise and the capabilities to meet the qualification requirements to provide design, develop, and deliver a SAET in support of the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS).

While the broader AF DCGS enterprise collects, correlates, and collaborates on multi-source intelligence to deliver near real-time actionable data to warfighters, this specific effort focuses on training modernization. The Contractor shall develop a modular, sensor-agnostic emulation platform capable of simulating diverse sensor data feeds to train operators in highly realistic environments. Additionally, the Contractor shall provide software integration, sustainment, and configuration control to ensure the trainer aligns with the DCGS Open Architecture (OA) baseline and can be deployed to the National Mission Partner Network to support distributed operations and training.
