WHS posts AI OSINT software support synopsis
On August 23, the Washington Headquarters Services posted a presolicitation synopsis for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Software Support Services requirement. Responses are due by 2:00 p.m. Eastern on August 29.
The requirement is to provide AI OSINT Software Support Services in order to devise, configure, operate, and maintain advanced AI software systems with Image and Video Recognition and Alerting for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) mission sets, which includes processing software improvement requests, support, futures analytical reporting, program analysis, developing contractor’s Detection as a Service (DaaS) program Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), developing process maps, and following agency-specific regulations.
Contractor shall provide open-source analysis to provide early detection from open-source information utilizing AI, awareness of threatening communications to High Risk Personnel (DoDI O-2000.22), the Pentagon Reservation, and leased facilities (DoD Directive 5105.68). The contractor shall provide a System Architect Level III. The contractor shall have a Top-Secret (TS) Facility Clearance Level (FCL) in accordance with the DD 254 DoD Contract Security Classification Specification, and its employee(s) shall have a TS clearance.
This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This is a new requirement so there is no incumbent contractor. The Government anticipates issuing the RFP before the end of August 2024.
