USMC issues RFI for C4I/TN technical support services
On August 23, the U.S. Marine Corps issued an RFI for Tactical Systems Support – 2 (Solicitation Number: M6890916Q7679). Responses are due by September 5.
This is a Request for Information (RFI) from interested sources. Response to this RFI is voluntary and at the contractor’s expense. The Government is seeking exceptionally and highly qualified sources with only specific, recent experience and excellent CPARS-documented past performance in the sustainment of fielded United States Marine Corps (USMC) Command, Control, Computer, Communications, and Intelligence Systems/Tactical Networks (C4I/TN) on a Global 24/7/365 technical support services basis.
The work to be performed is for non-personal technical support services and deliverable products required by Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) for fielded C4I/TN concerning the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Operating Forces (OPFOR). Technical support under this effort includes on-site/on-call support primarily located at the MCTSSA Operating Forces Tactical Systems Support Center (OFTSSC), Camp Pendleton, CA, with additional and sizable on-site/on-call technical representation at specified USMC Command organizations worldwide, including military exercise technical support based upon the operational schedule of the supported USMC units, and embedded technical support of various OPFOR contingency operations (e.g., hazardous duty, combat operations, peace-keeping, humanitarian relief, etc.) on a discrete basis.The work includes, but is not limited to, on-site/on-call system administration, systems installation, and expert-level troubleshooting of C4I/TN, scheduled military exercise support, contingency exercise support, deployed technical support, on-site C4I/TN over-the-shoulder training, SharePoint technical support, test & engineering assessment support, and technical guidance to the OPFOR on fielded USMC & Joint-Coalition C4I/TN.
