Salient CRGT awarded $11.5M contract to support defense commissary agency’s enterprise data warehouse
Salient CRGT, Inc. of Fairfax, VA has been awarded a prime contract from the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA), the company announced September 6. Salient CRGT will provide operational support and information technology objectives of the Enterprise Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence (EDW/BI) program. This contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total contract value of approximately $11.5 million.
Under this contract, Salient CRGT will partner with DeCA to provide big data, data management, data analytics, cyber security and lifecycle support services. Operating a worldwide chain of nearly 240 commissaries, DeCA delivers a premier quality of life benefit to military personnel, retirees, and their families. Since 2000, DeCA has operated an EDW/BI program that plays a key role in its core operations, increasing the efficiency and timeliness of the overnight ordering process. Salient CRGT will sustain the DeCA EDW/BI environment while introducing tools and technologies to help the program deliver enhanced support services. Salient CRGT has a dedicated Data Analytics Business unit with over 20 years of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence experience.
