Perspecta wins $36M Navy contract
Perspecta Inc. of Chantilly, VA announced on October 23 that it received a contract to continue work providing scientific, engineering and technical management services in support of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Carderock Division. The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract has a one-year base and four option years with a ceiling value of $36 million.
On the contract, Perspecta will provide scientific, engineering and technical management services in support of the NAVSEA NSWC Ship Signatures Department. The Ship Signatures Department’s mission is to ensure a signatures advantage for U.S. Navy submarines, surface ships and small craft through research and development, test and evaluation, engineering applications and fleet support.
Specific work will include: the design, development, upgrade and certification support of signal processing systems; operational, maintenance, and sustainment support; systems engineering and production support; data acquisition, processing, analysis, and reporting; and associated information technologies and information assurance support.
