NGA posts NERVE RFI

On March 31, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) posted a request for information (RFI) for NERVE-NSG Enterprise Repository and Virtual Environment. Responses are due by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on May 1.

NGA in support of the GEOINT Data Services Integrated Program Office is seeking information on how an interested contractor could sustain and modernize the NSG Consolidated Library (NCL) software baseline during the transition period as the Agency moves from data-center based content management to cloud-based data services.  The goal of NSG Enterprise Repository and Virtual Environment (NERVE) is to maintain full NCL operational capability, manage GEOINT data holdings, modernize NCL, and integrate new sensors into the NCL.

NGA has a mission-critical need for continued sustainment of the Application Service Provider (ASP) portion of the current NCL baseline, which is hosted on an NGA-determined Infrastructure Service Provider (ISP) architecture with a common software baseline. It defines the NERVE contractor management, procurement, transition, and sustainment activities necessary to operate, maintain, and modernize the current NCL ASP operational baseline.

Review the NGA NERVE RFI.
