New Age Protection, Inc., a security firm headquartered in Springfield, VA, has won a contract worth more than $142,000 to provide security escort services to construction personnel working on a switchgear project at the Naval Military Intelligence Center in Suitland, MD.

New Age Protection, Inc. (New Age) is a veteran-owned small business, certified 8(a) as a Small Disadvantaged Business by the Small Business Administration through 2016.

“We provide cutting-edge solutions in professional services, all facets of security support, logistics, and information technology,” explains the company on its Web site. “Our lean corporate structure contributes to our agility and resourcefulness. This enables us to provide customized cost effective solutions to our customers.”

New Age, which manages more than 140 employees, was incorporated in District Heights, MD, but operates its corporate office in Springfield, VA. It provides services to the U.S. Government and the private sector.

The contract valued at $142,807 was awarded by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, which is located in the Washington Navy Yard in the District of Columbia, says a Navy notice.
