Logi Analytics teams with Pivotal to deliver real-time insights from Big Data
Logi Analytics, an analytics company, announced on Oct. 21 its integration with Pivotal, the software company at the intersection of Big Data, Platform as a Service (PaaS) and agile development.
The partnership enables customers to analyze data stored in Apache Hadoop and Pivotal Greenplum with unprecedented speed and ease, and distribute those mission-critical insights in real time.
Today’s developers need a platform that enables them to continuously update and scale their applications with no downtime, as well as a standardized way to perform deep user analytics on top of large datasets. Logi Analytics’ business intelligence (BI) platform, Logi Info, allows developers to quickly build and deploy Web-based dashboards, reports and interactive analytics in days instead of months.
By combining the flexibility and ease of use of Logi Info with the Pivotal Big Data Suite, a subscription based software, support, and maintenance package that bundles Pivotal Greenplum Database, Pivotal GemFire, Pivotal GemFire XD, Pivotal HAWQ, and Pivotal HD into a flexible pool of big and fast data products for customers, users will be able to analyze, visualize and distribute massive amounts of data in real time, leading to smarter business decisions and improved bottom lines.
“Logi Analytics continues to seek new ways to help application developers create cutting-edge information applications,” said Kevin Greene, vice president, business development and channels, Logi Analytics. “Our partnership with Pivotal will enable customers to gain a competitive advantage by analyzing and visualizing big data and accessing key performance indicators within a familiar application environment.”
“With the power and flexibility of the Pivotal Big Data Suite, and the Logi Analytics platform, we provide all the tools necessary to efficiently build analytic applications,” said David Menninger, head of business development at Pivotal. “We’re pleased to team with Logi Analytics and expand the options for customers to build robust business intelligence applications to share insights and disseminate vital information to key decision makers faster than ever before.”
