ISR branch at Army research lab to award follow-on order to VSE Corp.
As a follow-on order to an earlier contract, the U.S. Army Research Laboratory’s intelligence, sensors, and reconnaissance (ISR) technology integration branch intends to negotiate with only one contractor, VSE Corp., of Alexandria, VA, for additional work.
The effort that VSE will undertake will include technical support, engineering, data management, configuration management and quality control support for some of the branch’s essential technical programs, according to a presolicitation notice issued by the Army Contracting Command on January 7.
“VSE Corporation was established in 1959 with a mission to provide engineering and technical support services to reduce the cost and improve the reliability of DoD systems and equipment,” says the company on its own Web site.
Interested parties that believe they have capabilities comparable to VSE’s can contact Phillip Amador at 575-678-3523 or phillip.j.amador.civ2@mail.mil by January 14.
