EOIR wins $49M ARDEC Tactical Mission Command Applications software engineering contract
EOIR Technologies, Inc. of Fredericksburg, VA announced on May 2 that the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) has awarded it a $49 million software engineering services Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract in support of Tactical Mission Command Applications (TMCA), including Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Tactical Applications (TacApps), and other current and future programs relating to Command Post Client (CPC).
ARDEC is responsible for the design, development, and integration of the TMCA software applications in support of Army Common Operating Environment (COE), Command Post Computing Environment (CP CE) objectives. In support of this effort, EOIR will provide software and systems engineering lifecycle support including, TMCA design, development, software coding and implementation, and testing activities, including unit and systems integration and fielding support.
As the embedded incumbent team, EOIR has supported the ARDEC Weapons and Software Engineering Center (WSEC) and TacApps on four previous/current contracts valued at over $17 million. They have provided subject matter expertise on TacApps since program inception and on CPOF and related applications since 1999.
