DIA Missile and Space Intelligence Center to hold technical brief event
On February 28, the Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Missile and Space Intelligence Center, released an industry day announcement in anticipation of an upcoming proposal (Solicitation Number: HHM402-17-R-0032). The technical brief takes placeon March 8; RSVPs are due no later than 3:00pm CDT on March 3.
The Virginia Contracting Activity, Missile and Space Intelligence Center Contracting Office, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama intends to release a Request for Proposal for Integrated System Production and Modeling & Simulation Suport on or about 24 March 2017. In order to afford maximum time for review, a DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) was released on 12 October 2016. The Government is hosting a Technical Brief on Wednesday, 8 March 2017 at 9:00 AM Central Time at Missile and Space Intelligence Center, Bldg 4545 Fowler Rd, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898. We will accept RSVPs from up to four visitors per Organization for this event NLT 3:00PM CDT, Friday, 3 March 2017.
The Technical Brief will be at a SECRET classification level. Visitors must have a current security clearance of SECRET or higher in order to attend. See attached document entitled “Visiting the Missile and Space Intelligence Center” for instructions on passing clearances to MSIC.
RSVP information will include Name and Company for those visitors WITH a CAC, Military ID or Redstone Arsenal Access Badge. RSVP information for those WITHOUT a CAC, Military ID or Redstone Arsenal Access Badge, will include Full Name, SSN, Company, work phone number, and employment status (Contractor). RSVPs will be made to Brandon Powell at 256-313-7669 or brandon.powell2@dodiis.mil. As a reminder, in addition to RSVPs, clearances must be passed to MSIC security.
Questions from interested vendors will be consolidated and incorporated into the Technical Brief. These questions must be received via email at brandon.powell2@dodiis.mil no later than 1:00PM Central Time, Monday, 6 March 2017 in order for the Government to incorporate them into the Technical Brief. However, if unable to submit questions by the suspense date and/or if new questions arise during the Brief, the Government will collectively provide time for question and answer dialog.
Additionally, the Government will provide potential offerors with the opportunity to meet individually with the technical team. These meetings will occur in one hour sessions from 8:00 AM Central Time to 3:00 PM Central Time on Thursday, 9 March, 2017, and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional time will be made for potential offerors if necessary. Please indicated interest for the individual session when sending an RSVP.
