The Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Division C, in support of Project Manager (PM) PNT, Program Executive Office Intelligence (PEO) Electronic Warfare and Sensors (IEW&S) is requesting industry feedback on feasibility and ability to implement, as well as general comments on the Interface Specification Supplement (ISS) for the GPS Standard Serial Interface Protocol (GSSIP) of Positioning, Navigation and Timing Systems.
The GPS Directorate has formally assigned IS-GPS-153 messages 6700-6799 for use and control by PM PNT. A new interface document (working designation “IS-PNT-153”) to be managed/controlled by PM PNT defines the content of messages 6700-6799. This ISS will be published as a supplement to IS-GPS-153 and will include new data content to enable Assured PNT. Some of the new data content areas are blended navigation, NAVWAR (Navigation Warfare), Integrity Score, and data quality indications.
