DIA posts RFI for network routing and switching products and services
On December 16, the Defense Intelligence Agency released a request for information for Network Routing and Switching Products and Services. Responses are due by email no later than 1:00pm Eastern time on December 23.
The goal of this RFI is to determine the most affordable and timely approach for DIA’s replacement of the JWICS WAN routing and switching devices; establish a lifecycle approach for the devices; and determine whether an alternative approach is better, and if so over what period of time.
DIA’s intent is to replace its current WAN routing and switching devices, and establish a lifecycle management approach. DIA seeks options for the JWICS WAN network equipment that will provide E-Line, ELAN, and Layer 3 virtual private network (VPN) services. The anticipated RFP will be for equipment and installation services.
Although a Respondent’ s or Potential Bidder’ s Conference is not planned, DIA and JWICS representatives reserve the right to engage in a Bidders Conference or to meet with Respondents individually.
