USAF posts tactical SIGINT RFI

On October 19, the U.S. Air Force posted a sources sought synopsis (SSS)/request for information (RFI) for a Modular Tactical Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) EW System. Responses are due by 12:00 p.m. Eastern on November 18.

The United States (US) Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance & Special Operations Forces (ISR & SOF) Directorate, Special Warfare (SW) Program Office (AFLCMC/WISN) is conducting market research to identify possible sources capable of providing body worn, low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP), user friendly, modular tactical SIGINT/EW system capable of full spectrum signals prosecution in adverse environments.

The modular tactical SIGINT/EW system will support integrated WIFI connectivity with EUD devices. Operators will have the ability to handle the devices easily with: easy cable connections, no sharp edges, single use carries, fit in military pouches as the AN/PRC-148, and shipped in a single hard case.

Interested parties who desire to participate in this SSS/RFI are encouraged to submit responses that demonstrate they presently have the technology and qualifications to provide the system described.
