On September 3, General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a business unit of General Dynamics, announced a strategic partnership within the OpenAI Partner Network to deliver secure, mission-focused artificial intelligence capabilities across the U.S. government.
Federal agencies are under increasing pressure to upgrade aging systems, improve public services and strengthen security. Through this collaboration, GDIT will combine its mission and integration expertise with OpenAI’s cutting-edge models to modernize existing infrastructure, unlock new value from data and enhance mission outcomes.
GDIT will connect agencies’ existing systems with OpenAI models to ensure seamless performance and interoperability across complex federal environments. These integrations protect personal information, keep data sharing controlled, and support AI adoption that aligns with federal compliance requirements and the operation of sensitive government systems.
