On September 3, RealmOne, a provider of advanced technology solutions delivering AI-enabled cybersecurity, data science and analytics, and mission operations for the Department of War (DoW) and Intelligence Community (IC), announced the appointment of Mallory Cawlfield to chief operating officer (COO). RealmOne is a portfolio company of Enlightenment Capital.
Cawfield brings more than 25 years of operations leadership experience across the IC, DoW, and federal contracting sectors. As COO, she will help lead RealmOne’s operational strategy and execution as the company continues to scale, supporting its people, customers, and mission while strengthening the foundation for continued growth.
Cawlfield brings a unique breadth of experience across organizations at varying stages of growth. Most recently, she served as Executive Director at CACI, where she led operations and strategic growth across a portfolio valued at several hundred million dollars. Previously, as vice president of Maryland ops at Applied Insight, she directed a portfolio spanning multiple prime contracts and mission customers. Earlier in her career, Cawlfield served as chief operating officer of Zavda Technologies, where she helped scale the company from its early stages, expand its contract base, and ultimately lead the organization through a successful acquisition.
“Mallory is the exact kind of leader we look for at RealmOne. Her passion for the mission and people-first focus is what drew us to her,” said Matt Ford, CEO of RealmOne. “Her experience building and scaling organizations while remaining focused on customers and employees makes her an exceptional addition to our leadership team, and I have immense confidence in the impact she will have at RealmOne.”
Cawlfield began her career with the U.S. Navy and NAVFAC, serving for eight years as an Officer in Charge of Construction and Contracting Officer, where she led acquisition planning and contract administration for major construction and facility support programs. She is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and holds an MBA from Old Dominion University. She is also a Level III Certified Contracting Officer and remains actively involved with the Naval Academy as a Blue and Gold Officer for the Fourth District.
“I am excited to join RealmOne at such an important and dynamic time for our mission-customer landscape,” said Cawlfield. “The opportunity to work alongside a team known for delivering exceptional value to its customers while maintaining a strong commitment to its people is something I am truly looking forward to.”
