On August 18, Voyager Technologies, Inc. announced that it is investing in Latent AI, a leading AI software company turning data into decisive action at the edge in any domain.
“AI is transforming the edge from a passive collector to an active combat multiplier,” said Dylan Taylor, CEO, Voyager Technologies. “We’re making the leap from merely collecting data at the edge to understanding it instantly, putting mission intelligence where the mission happens in real time.”
Latent AI optimizes AI for contested and constrained environments, bringing faster, smarter and more resilient decision-making to the edge. Their AI models provide mission-critical intelligence where it’s needed most.
The investment will enhance Voyager’s ability to deliver faster targeting, sharper situational awareness and decisive advantage. This is critical in missions the company supports, where every second counts – on orbit, in theater and at the tactical edge.
“Traditional AI relies on sending data thousands of miles to cloud resources – impractical when operating in space or contested environments,” said Jags Kandasamy, co-founder and CEO, Latent AI. “Voyager’s investment accelerates our mission to put AI processing power exactly where operators need it most: at the point of decision.”
The investment gives Latent AI the resources to broaden their hardware reach while accelerating product development. Enhanced AI applications and analysis may be performed on Voyager’s space-based platforms such as onboard processors and avionic suites, extending to additional hardware programs.
