DSA announces reorganization
On January 29, DSA announced significant organizational changes aimed at aligning its business units with its customer base and target markets.
Kathleen Kirk, chief operations officer, said, “These changes enhance our operational excellence and will support DSA’s next phase of growth.”
Amy Fares has been promoted to senior vice president (SVP) and will oversee the newly established Federal Civilian and State Programs (FC&S) Business Unit. Mike Donovan assumed the role of SVP for the new Intelligence and Critical Infrastructure Protection Programs (Intel and CIP) Business Unit. Robert Wheeler, SVP, heads the new Department of Defense (DoD) Programs Business Unit.
In addition, Bill Jones has been appointed as the SVP of Corporate Initiatives and Strategic Partnerships. This newly established corporate-level role will provide support across all Business Units, leading new business and M&A transition efforts, strategic growth, and coordinating relationships and activities for DSA technical partnerships.
To further support the consolidation within the DoD Programs Business Unit, Melissa Westcott has been promoted to senior director and will serve as the program manager for the US Army Military Technical Solutions (MilTech) Program. Andrew Levine has also been promoted to senior director and will support various US Army programs, and Wayne Irwin, Senior Director, will oversee operations for several key defense programs.
