Dewberry promotes Joseph Wells to IC market leader
Dewberry announced on June 12 that Joseph Wells, AIA, NCARB, has been promoted to intelligence community market leader in the firm’s Fairfax, Virginia, office. In his new position, Wells will be responsible for coordinating with federal clients to address issues related to cyber security, lifecycle cost savings, security, asset management, and resilience, as well as general architectural, engineering, and consulting support.
Wells has nearly 40 years of experience in the architectural-engineering industry, with specific experience in the federal markets and large indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts. He previously served as principal-in-charge of the architectural practice in Dewberry’s Fairfax office, where he was responsible for overall operations, resourcing, and project delivery.
Wells earned his bachelor of architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (1978). He is a registered architect in the Virginia, Maryland, Florida, and Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Society of American Military Engineers, and the Virginia Tech Ut Prosim Society.
