Mercury Systems receives $17.9 million order for airborne sensor processing application

mercury 112Mercury Systems, Inc., a Chelmsford, MA-based high-tech commercial provider of more affordable secure and sensor processing subsystems powering today’s critical defense and intelligence applications, announced on April 16 that it had received a $17.9 million purchase order relating to a sensor processing application for fighter aircraft. The order was booked in the Company’s fiscal 2015 third quarter.

“Mercury’s outstanding working relationship with this customer, forged through years of close collaboration, continues to help drive the success of this critical airborne program,” said Didier Thibaud, President of Mercury Computer Systems’ Advanced Computing Solutions business unit. “This collaboration will enable our customer to continue to leverage Mercury’s commercially developed modular open architecture-based signal processing technology to realize faster time to market and a lower total cost of ownership for their program.”
