Air Force to host GenAI Innovation Roundtable

On April 24, the U.S. Air Force posted a notice of its intent to hold a Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Innovation Roundtable. The sessions will take place in May and will be divided into sessions focused on small businesses, large businesses, and academia.

The Department of the Air Force Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office is hosting a series of roundtables with industry and academia to discuss (GenAI).  These informative roundtables are for Market Research purposes only and DO NOT constitute or guarantee a subsequent contract award from the government.  Participation is completely voluntary. This is not an opportunity to sell products/services but to participate in meaningful discussions with the DAF CDAO concerning GenAI.

The government is targeting a total of three (3) sessions with Small Businesses, Large Businesses, and Academia (one each).  The intent is to have no more than 10 businesses/schools attend at each focused session.

Roundtable Purpose:

  1. Identification of strategies to effectively incorporate GenAI
  2. Informed awareness on how GenAI platforms can enhance operations
  3. Knowledge exchange and learning networks established with industry and academia

Topics:

  1. Everyday GenAI & Game-Changing GenAI
  2. Responsible GenAI
  3. Agile Approaches to GenAI Adoption
