Victor Ishakian named vice president and chief technology officer at SBG Technology Solutions

SBG Technology Solutions, an engineering and information technology service provider, announced on August 18 that Victor Ishakian has joined SBG as vice president of business development and chief technology officer.

Bringing more than 25 years of business development, technical execution and leadership experience to SBG, Ishakian will be responsible for driving business growth and leading technical strategies for SBG’s customers.

Ishakian has worked extensively with various government, commercial and international healthcare, supply chain management, security and intelligence organizations delivering large-scale, complex and mission-critical IT solutions.

Prior to SBG, he served as the executive director of business development and chief technology officer for Harris Healthcare Solutions. While at Harris, he played a significant role expanding its healthcare solutions business portfolio by enabling government, commercial and international healthcare institutions access to 21st century electronic health record systems, infrastructure to achieve data interoperability and sharing, and delivery of complex healthcare systems integration strategies.

Ishakian has led the planning, execution and delivery of key strategic, high-profile initiatives surrounding clinical and benefits systems integration, healthcare delivery coordination, data analytics and business intelligence of multiple projects, including Veterans Enrollment and Eligibility, HealtheVet, DoD Tri-care Defense Medical Logistic system and DHS Foreign Student and Exchange Visitors Information System.
