USAF seeks Unit Level/Unit Command and Control Operations (UL/UC2 Ops) support services
On April 27, the Air Force Air Combat Command released the following request for proposal (RFP) for unit level/unit command and control operations (UL/UC2 Ops) support services (Solicitation Number: F2QF365009A001). Proposals are due no later than May 15 at 2:00pm Eastern Standard Time.
This is a requirement for Unit Level/Unit Command and Control Operations (UL/UC2 Ops) Support Services. UL/UC2 is an integrated set of hardware, software and communications which provide for secure planning, execution, resource management and intelligence data at all levels of command. These services will provide mission critical support to ensure information technology (IT) equipment is operational to support mission requirements. Work is to be performed at six OCONUS and five CONUS locations. The specific level of effort required for this requirement is defined in the Performance Work Statement as 6 FTEs at initial award, and 16 optional FTE positions capable to support up to 11 OCONUS/CONUS sites, if necessary.
The objective of this performance-based contract is to provide contracted UL/UC2 OPS support services to Combat Air Force units fielded with UL/UC2 Ops assets. The contractor shall be dedicated to providing mission-effective, efficient information technology capabilities. The contractor shall maintain high quality services and customer support to meet the required services and shall interface professionally with government personnel at all levels of command. This contract provides UL/UC2 Ops Life Cycle Maintenance and Logistics Support from initial arrival at the unit through end-of-life disposition. Scope of contract tasks includes IT systems operating on the NIPRNet (Nonsecure Internet Protocol Router Network) and SIPRNet (Secret Internet Protocol Router Network).
