UltiSat awarded task order to provide SATCOM services for Global Hawk UAV operations
UltiSat, Inc. of Gaithersburg, MD announced on October 9 that it was recently awarded a COMSATCOM Transponded Capacity (CTC) task order by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) under the Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition (FCSA) Schedule 70 contract vehicle. Under this task order, UltiSat will provide the United States Air Force (USAF) Air Combat Command (ACC) with commercial Ku-band satellite capacity for Global Hawk (GH) Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) operations and training. UltiSat will support GH Ku-band earth terminals located in the 48 contiguous United States. The total evaluated price, including options, was $8,084,496.00.
