U.S. Army INSCOM to hold Industry Day
On January 21, the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command posted the following invitation to its upcoming Industry Day, to be held March 9. The registration deadline is February 19, but the agency expects the event to fill up fast.
The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) invites you to attend the FY16 INSCOM Industry Day on March 9, 2016, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Eastern) in the Allder Auditorium at the National Geospatial Agency’s (NGA) Springfield, Virginia campus. This event will be hosted by Major General George J. Franz III, Commanding General, INSCOM, who will kick off the event providing insight into the command’s strategic and operational objectives and highlight areas for collaboration with industry focusing on today’s complex worldwide intelligence and security environment. The theme of this year’s Industry Day is:
Strengthening Partnerships Between INSCOM And Industry For Future Mission Success!
“The event is an outstanding opportunity for INSCOM senior leadership, staff, and Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) to interact with critical intel and security industry partners in order to share the INSCOM path forward (vision), describe future desired capabilities, and brief industry on the INSCOM acquisition strategy for FY16 and beyond,” said Colonel Lance Green, INSCOM Principal Assistant Responsible for Contracting.
Early and frequent interaction and collaboration with industry is critical to the INSCOM mission, our customers, and our strategic partnerships. Through the conducting of this full day CLASSIFIED industry day, INSCOM will present capability gaps and future requirements in order to motivate industry partners to provide innovative solutions to help INSCOM achieve its strategic and operational objectives.
