TeraThink Corporation hires Rick Dansey as SVP, Defense Programs

TeraThink Corporation announced on February 13 that Rick Dansey has joined the company as senior vice president. In this role, Dansey will oversee all strategic planning, operations and management for TeraThink’s defense programs. He is an integral part of the company’s aggressive acquisition and large program pursuits in the unrestricted market.

Dansey has intimate knowledge of what it takes to successfully operate and grow businesses in the federal marketspace. He offers over 28 years of executive experience across multibillion-dollar system integrators and successfully launching, growing and exiting a federal consultancy that was acquired in 2001.

Prior to joining TeraThink, Dansey founded Ignitis LLC, where he developed growth strategies for start-ups to Fortune 500 companies focused on merger and acquisitions, large opportunity capture and new technology offerings. Dansey served as an officer at CACI for 16 years where he was recognized as a growth oriented leader.  His last role was as an executive vice president and business group manager for a $630 million in annual revenue and 3500 employees group. Previously, he also launched a successful consulting practice as an executive at DSIC in the competitive ERP space, which was eventually acquired in 2001 by CACI.
