SPAWAR issues MARFORCYBER solicitation

SPAWAR 112On April 12, the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (Solicitation Number: N66001-16-R-0273) issued a combined solicitation synopsis for MARFORCYBER training. Questions are due by April 26, and submissions are due on May 12.

This combined solicitation synopsis is hereby issued.

The Government intends to issue a solicitation, 100% set-aside for small business, relating the following: The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) , Program Executive Offices, MARFORCYBER Command, and Fleet Cyber Command (FCC) requires the training of military personnel and civilians, so they are properly certified and skilled on Cybersecurity. Acquisition of these training services is required in order to ensure sustainment of and consistency in contracting of services for cyber training. The cyber training services acquired in this solicitation shall provide support to develop and deliver technical courses required to meet operational standards at National-level organizations providing support to cyber security missions. The courses will be aligned to compliment on going Cyber Security technological initiatives within MARFORCYBER and FCC.

Cyber training to be procured under this contract are considered commercial in nature and commercial acquisition procedures will be used. Any resulting award will be made on the basis of a trade-off analysis and the resulting contract will be a multiple-award, five- year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract supporting issuance of firm fixed price task orders approximately every 4-6 months. Contract will contain a base period of three (3) years with two (2), one-year option periods. FSC Code is U008, NAICS is 611420.
