As a leader in cyberspace domain, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) equips the U.S. Navy and other branches of the Defense Department with the technological and engineering prowess to maintain the United States’ edge in naval information warfare.
To keep pace with the demand for integrated intelligence capabilities across positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) programs, SSC Pacific has awarded McLean, VA-based Booz Allen Hamilton a $67.5 million contract to provide systems engineering expertise over a one-year base plus four-year period, the company announced December 14. Booz Allen has supported SSC Pacific in the development and integration of cutting edge PNT systems for more than 15 years.
“We are honored to partner with SSC Pacific to equip our nation’s sailors with reliable intelligence to anticipate, identify, communicate and tackle threats to our country’s security,” said Tom Pfeifer, an executive vice president at Booz Allen. “Backed by our team of skilled systems engineers, we will carry out impact assessments of technical documents to help SSC Pacific meet the Navy’s PNT and cyber requirements, as well as advance Marine Corps, Air Force, Army and Coast Guard programs. Booz Allen’s approach to Enterprise Integration will ensure military decision-makers have all the tools they need to take swift and decisive action in the battlefield.”
