Secure Cloud Systems Teams with PD Systems and MicroTech on U.S. Army and armed forces contracts

Secure Cloud Systems logo LogoSecure Cloud Systems, a Colorado Springs, CO provider of highly secure data security solutions, announced on August 27 that it is teaming with PD-Systems and MicroTech for multiple armed forces contracts to provide cybersecurity solutions as well as research and development services utilizing its proprietary CertainSafe technology.

Secure Cloud Systems, LLC was named as a sub-contractor on the TACOM Strategic Service Solutions (TS3) Family of Contracts, VA is a prime contractor for the TS3 Contract with the US Army, valued at $3.5 billion. Secure Cloud Systems will be participating in the private bid process as tasked orders are released for bid on the TS3 contract as subcontractor to PD-Systems.

The company, which announced a partnership with MicroTech earlier this year to integrate its proprietary MicroEncryption architecture within MicroTech’s private hybrid MicroKloud, will partner with MicroTech and has been added as a sub-contractor as well on its share of the NETCENTS II Contract for the US Air Force. NETCENTS II is valued at $5.4 billion. They will again be a key cybersecurity provider to this contract for MicroTech on approved task orders.

CertainSafe’s proprietary MicroTokenization technology protects data in real-time with the use of its MicroEncryption protocols, which encrypts each file individually down to the byte level, protecting data-in-transit and data-at-rest. CertainSafe’s network and solutions are PCI DSS Level 1 Certified. Users can store HIPAA, PCI, PFI, PHI, PII, as well as other types of sensitive data, which require compliance in addition to the highest levels of data protection.

“Governments are adding security to their existing firewall protection to data mobility and defense with the implementation of CertainSafe services,” said Steven Russo, Executive Vice President of Secure Cloud Systems. “These two contracts acknowledge our emergence as an industry leader in the deployment of technology that allows for data defense resiliency and total protection.”

The company boasts an advisory board of high profile experts on security, including: Rep. Pete Hoekstra, former Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee; Richard Marshall, a former director of cybersecurity at the Department of Homeland Security; Richard Purcell, former Chief Privacy Officer at Microsoft.

Secure Cloud Systems credited Julie Stackpoole, President of Stackpoole Consulting for putting them together with PD Systems.  “Not only was Julie invaluable in putting us in front of the right people and guiding us through the complex maze of the procurement process; it was obvious to us that Julie had earned everyone’s trust because of her track record of caring about the mission first, as well as bringing the best companies together to accomplish that mission,” said Secure Cloud Systems CEO John Nachef.

According to Secure Cloud Systems, attempting to stop all forms of cyberattack by utilizing only perimeter defenses is no longer working. As a result, there is an escalation in cyber-attacks and increasing sophistication of cyber-terrorists. Tactics are being deployed to help governments withstand attacks while continuing to operate effectively. CertainSafe keeps data moving and MicroEncrypted, down to the field level – therefore making it virtually inaccessible to hackers.
