Secret Service to hold NCFI industry day
On April 29, the Department of Homeland Security announced plans for an Industry Day to support the U.S. Secret Service’s National Computer Forensics Institute on May 16-May 18. Registration is due by noon on May 12.
The National Computer Forensics Institute (NCFI) located in Hoover, Alabama is a special program under a section of the Office of Investigations of the United States Secret Service. The NCFI provides training to state and local law enforcement officers, prosecutors, and judges in the aspects of computer and mobile forensics.
The NCFI has a wide range of requirements for supplies and services which include: instruction services, commercial off-the-shelf computers, mobile forensics equipment and software. Attendees to this event will also include other components of the United Secret Service with similar requirements.

An Industry Day event is scheduled from Monday, May 16, 2016 through Wednesday, May 18, 2016. All interested firms wishing to attend the Industry Day event are required to register by submitting the name of all attendees (Limit two per vendor) by noon on (Eastern Time) May 12, 2016 to the attention of: Chelly Johnson-Jones, Contracting Officer at email: chelly.jones@usss.dhs.gov. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted. Registration will be based on a first come, first served basis.
