Salient Federal Solutions wins $34 million Navy C4ISR training contract

SPAWAR Pacific Salient Federal Solutions, Inc., a provider of information technology, training, engineering and intelligence analytics services, announced on May 1 the award of a prime ID/IQ contract by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) Training Development Support Center (TDSC).

This contract supports the technical training development and instruction on U.S. Navy C4ISR networks and systems. The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ), cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF), multiple-award contract has a potential contract value of $34 million.

Salient is one of four awardees that will compete for task orders under the contract. Work will primarily be performed in San Diego, CA, with potential for work in Norfolk, VA, as well as shipboard and Naval NOC sites around the world.

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) is the Navy’s premier research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) laboratory supporting command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR). Under this contract, Salient will provide interactive course development, training plans and documentation, and curriculum development and instruction for the SSC Pacific’s network systems and products. Salient will perform these functions at its San Diego office, as well as formal schoolhouse locations, shipboard and shore sites globally.

“We are excited about supporting the U.S. Navy with our training products and services,” said Brad Antle, CEO of Salient. “This contract expands our current support to the U.S. Navy and provides the necessary training to support their mission in keeping warfighters one step ahead of adversaries. It allows Salient the opportunity to continue to provide unparalleled value within the Navy Training community.”
