The Crane Division of the Naval Surface Weapons Center, in Indiana, has issued a competitive solicitation for contractors that can provide design, engineering, fabrication and testing of special intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) components and systems that have reached Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6 maturity.
The Navy plans to award multiple Basic Ordering Agreements (BOAs) which will have a total value of not more than $49 million and run for a five-year period, said a Navy notice published on May 1.
The selected vendors will help produce engineering development models, pre-production units and low rate initial production units.
Interested vendors are required to respond to the solicitation by July 7. Further information is available from Diane Bright at 812-854-2938 or diane.bright@navy.mil.
