Rite-Solutions awarded $300M RaPDS IDIQ contract

Rite-Solutions, Inc. of Middletown, RI announced that it has recently been awarded one of three Rapid Product Development and Sustainment (RaPDS) indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contracts by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) Sea Warrior Program Office (PMW 240).  The RaPDS contract has a ceiling of $300,000,000 with a 5-year base ordering period covering November 2017 to November 2022, along with three 1-year options that can extend the ordering period through November 2025.  Individual task orders under this contract will be competed among the three awardees.

SPAWAR’s Sea Warrior (PMW 240) and Enterprise Systems and Service (PMW 250) Programs, part of the Navy Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS), is the Information Technology (IT) acquisition agent for a complex portfolio of systems that enable the Navy to perform human resource and other non-tactical business operations ashore and afloat.  Under this contract, Rite-Solutions will design, develop, modernize and sustain the PMW 240 and PMW 250 portfolio of IT systems, supporting the fleet as well as Department of Defense (DoD) and Navy business system applications ranging from workforce development to administration and criminal justice.

Rite-Solutions provides software and systems development services to government, DoD, and commercial markets.  “We are very excited to receive this contract award from PMW 240 [and PMW 250],” said Dennis McLaughlin, president and CEO.  “It is our largest IDIQ and provides the opportunity for significant business growth with a new DoD customer in our core capability – software engineering.”
