President Biden to nominate Dr. Stacey Dixon as PDDNI
On April 21, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines issued the following statement regarding President Joseph Biden’s intent to nominate Dr. Stacey Dixon as the Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence:
“Dr. Stacey Dixon is a talented and innovative intelligence professional who has served in a variety of roles during her distinguished career in the Intelligence Community.
“Dr. Dixon currently serves as National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Deputy Director and is well known at ODNI from her time leading the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA). She also previously served as the deputy director of NGA’s research directorate, led NGA’s office of congressional and intergovernmental affairs, and worked for the Central Intelligence Agency, where she was assigned to the National Reconnaissance Office’s advanced systems and technology directorate.
“Dr. Dixon possesses a deep knowledge of the intelligence tradecraft and understands the critical work intelligence professionals perform every day. I cannot think of a more exceptional leader to join the ODNI team and help set the strategic direction for the Intelligence Community.”
