PAE, Parsons join forces to compete on U.S. Army LOGCAP V program
Arlington, VA-based PAE and Pasadena, CA-based Parsons announced on October 5 that the companies will offer a new joint venture, PAE-Parsons Global Logistics Services, LLC (P2GLS), to support the requirements of the U.S. Army Sustainment Command and Army Contracting Command’s Logistics Civil Augmentation Program V (LOGCAP V). LOGCAP V is projected to be a 10-year, $82 billion contract to support a wide range of logistical and facility requirements worldwide.
Leading as president of P2GLS is Scott Welker, who served most recently as deputy to the commander of Joint Munitions Command Headquarters at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois, and previously as deputy to the commander for the Army Sustainment Command in Rock Island.
“By combining the successful experience, talented workforce and existing operational footprints of PAE and Parsons, the P2GLS joint venture is poised to serve as a responsive force multiplier for our customer,” said Welker. “Our partner companies have an established local presence in nearly all of the countries within each of the six Department of Defense (DoD) geographic combatant commands, positioned to rapidly respond to any LOGCAP mission requirement.”
“We are excited to join forces with Parsons to offer the Army a strong team differentiated by responsiveness, experience, commitment to performance excellence, and value,” said president of PAE Technical Services and retired Maj. Gen. Chuck Anderson. “With active operations on all seven continents and experience supporting contractor augmentation programs for over six decades, P2GLS will offer forwarddeployed teams to scale quickly and effectively in support of projects in any location, and a deep respect for the challenges of the LOGCAP mission.”
“Parsons and PAE together present a formidable global team with a combined 130 years of on-the-ground support in the countries and regions within DoD’s six combatant commands,” said Carey Smith, Parsons Group president. “Parsons’ leadership is unwaveringly committed to this joint venture and to leveraging our decades of experience providing logistical support for the American warfighter.”
