NGA releases Vista RFI

On October 30, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) posted a request for information (RFI) for the Vista project. Responses are due by 3:00 p.m. Eastern on December 1.

NGA is seeking information on how an interested contractor could sustain, enhance, and develop resource tools in support of NGA’s International Program Office (TIP)’s Vista project. The purpose of this RFI is to gain information on current industry capabilities in performing the requirements outlined in the draft Statement of Objectives (SOO).

Background

TIP has a mission-critical need for software tool sustainment and enhancement.  Vista consists of mission and programmatic functionality tools as described in further detail in the SOO.  Existing TIP software tools support is currently being performed by BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration (BAE) under NGA contract # HM157214D0003/0002.  This contract’s last option period is scheduled to expire on 30 June 2021, and the Government is using this RFI to inform its market research efforts for how best to continue to support existing TIP Resource Tools while avoiding a gap in service at the end of the current contract’s last option year, as well as support future software tools.
