NGA posts RFP for ISO certification services

On September 14, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency released a request for proposals (RFP) for the services of an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Certification Body to certify two internal NGA offices (FedBizOpps Solicitation Number: HM157517R0019). Responses are due no later than 9:00 a.m. CST on September 20.

This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Proposal (RFP) number NSFHG87124AS01 incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 2005-94 effective 19 January 2017.

This RFP solicited as full and open to large and small businesses within North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541611 and small business size standard of $15M. In order to be considered for this requirement, vendors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov. Registration MUST contain the appropriate NAICS code.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to acquire the services of an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Certification Body, to certify two internal NGA offices, including all of their business activities. The primary service is to provide a team of certified auditors to conduct assessments that determine the continued worthiness of the NGA offices to maintain their registration.

NGA intends to award one contract from this synopsis/solicitation. Selection will be based upon the lowest priced, technically acceptable proposal received from the Combined Synopsis and Solicitation including all of the attachments. This RFP is for a base year plus two consecutive option years.
