NGA posts Research Flight Support RFI

On May 3, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) posted a request for information (RFI) for research flight support. Responses are due by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on May 10.

NGA in support of the Research Directorate is seeking information on how an interested contractor could satisfy NGA’s need to determine utility and potential capability of government and contractor GEOINT systems through integration, demonstration, testing, and validation on an airborne platform.

The purpose of this RFI is to gauge industry interest and capabilities related to the Research Flight Support Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Contractor is to provide access to required aircraft, including crew and the appropriate ground support, for various flight requirements for NGA operational demonstrations, test and evaluation activities, and verification and validation of GEOINT capabilities.

The objective of this RFI is to satisfy NGA’s need to determine utility and potential capability of government and contractor GEOINT systems through integration, demonstration, testing, and validation on an airborne platform. This will be performed both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS).
