NetCentrics awarded contract with U.S. Army Contracting Command—Rock Island
NetCentrics of Herndon, VA announced on April 6 that the U.S. Army Contracting Command – Rock Island awarded NetCentrics the Compute and Application Services (CAS) contract for the Joint Service Provider (JSP). The period of performance for this more than $50M firm fixed price contract includes one base year and two option years. Work will be performed at the Pentagon and in the National Capital Region (NCR).
NetCentrics CEO, Bob Dougherty, said of the win, “We have supported this organization since 1996 and are proud to continue our support of the mission, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of IT services to the NCR DoD community. We are excited to continue our relationship as the JSP evolves.”
NetCentrics and its partners will assist the JSP in its mission to be a customer-focused organization that provides, manages, operates and maintains Information Technology (IT) shared services for the Pentagon and select agencies and organizations in the capital region. Based on this contract and existing contracts, NetCentrics is currently one of the largest IT service providers to the Pentagon and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and one of the largest providers of Information Assurance (IA) and Computer Network Defense (CND) services to the US Coast Guard.
