Navy to hold industry day for stealth tech engineering support
On February 10, the U.S. Navy posted a notice announcing an upcoming industry day event for engineering services for stealth technology support (Solicitation Number: N00167-17-R-3026).
The Naval Surface Warfare Center-Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for scientific, engineering, technical and programmatic support for stealth technology development, ship design applications, and fleet support implementation under the VIRGINIA Class, Ohio Replacement Program, advanced tactical submarine development, surface and advanced naval vehicles, advanced ship concepts, stealth/survivability programs and other technical Navy programs associated with NSWCCD. Specific task areas include:
– SUBMARINE AND SURFACE SHIP SIGNATURES PROGRAM SUPPORT
– ACOUSTIC INTELLIGENCE (ACINT) PROGRAM SUPPORT
– TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPPORTServices are currently being provided by NTI Corporation under contract# N00178-04-D-4093-FD02 and expires on 04 April 2017. This procurement will be solicited in the Seaport-e Portal and is anticipated to be awarded on December 2017.
ALL interested vendors capable of performing these services are cordially invited to attend an Industry Day event to be held on Thursday, 23 February 2017 at 10:30 am (EST). This event will be held at the NSWCCD, 9500 MacArthur Boulevard, West Bethesda, Maryland 20817-5700.
