The Naval Facilities Engineering Command announced on Sept. 28 that it has awarded a contract worth more than $1.3 million to Ngogo Engineering Limited, of Dar-es-Salaam, in the African nation of Tanzania, to construct a building for the Tanzania Defense Intelligence College.
The contract will be performed in Mbagala, Tanzania, says the U.S. Navy’s notice.
The firm-fixed price construction contract will be awarded to Ngogo to design-build one partially-constructed multi-purpose building on the new campus for the Tanzania Defense Intelligence College.
An earlier notice by the Navy indicated the award would range between $1 million building and $5 million, and that all work had to be completed within 450 days of contract award.
Further information about this contract is available from Sean Duffy, of the U.S. Navy, at sean.duffy@eu.navy.mil
