NAVSEA posts sources sought for AN/BLQ-10 EW system
On October 30, the U.S. Navy posted a sources sought notice for AN/BLQ-10 Electronic Warfare System (Solicitation Number: N00024-18-R-6200). Responses are due by November 13.
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Program Executive Office Submarines (PEO SUB) seeks to identify possible sources interested in fulfilling the requirements for the AN/BLQ-10 Electronic Warfare (EW) system. The AN/BLQ-10 Electronic Warfare system provides radio and communications band threat warning and situational awareness for all submarine classes.
The AN/BLQ-10 will be installed on the VIRGINIA, SEAWOLF, LOS ANGELES, and COLUMBIA class submarines. It may also be installed on the OHIO class SSBN and SSGN submarines. The system shall meet the requirements of a Performance Specification with a focus on EW performance, reliability, survivability, and supportability. The AN/BLQ-10 system design will have emphasis on open system’s architecture, non-proprietary interfaces, and integration of third party software.
