Mercury Systems receives $2.3 million order for high-performance digital signal processing modules for SIGINT application
Mercury Systems, Inc., a provider of secure and sensor processing subsystems powering today’s critical defense and intelligence applications, announced on January 8 that it received a $2.3 million order from a leading defense prime contractor for high-performance digital signal processing modules for use in a signals intelligence (SIGINT) application.
The order was booked in the Company’s fiscal 2015 second quarter and is expected to be shipped by its fiscal 2015 third quarter.
“Mercury’s expertise in developing RF and IF solutions that detect, intercept and defeat signals of interest is ideally suited to the electronic warfare challenges faced by prime contractors,” said Didier Thibaud, President of Mercury’s Commercial Electronics business unit. “This order exemplifies how Mercury’s innovative, open standards-based solutions enable our customers to deliver systems that provide the critical electronic warfare information our warfighters need to make timely and accurate operational decisions.”
